Dicha unidad consta de muchas mejores en su historial, como un bloque motor de 4.2 con carburadores mas grandes, frenos de disco delante y detrás, y otra serie de accesorios que hacen de esta unidad, un coche totalmente fiable y listo para circular tantos kilómetros como se desee. Su parabrisas tipo “Le Mans”, mejoran también su look a un aspecto más deportivo.
Todos sus grandes trabajos han sido realizados en Auto Storica desde el principio, sobre el año 2004, por lo que su historial es totalmente demostrable y reconocido.

El Jaguar XK 120 fue presentado en el «British International Motor Show» en el «Earls Court Exhibition Centre» el 27 de octubre de 1948, bajo la exitosa campaña de marketing, garantizando en sus anuncios que alcanzaría una velocidad de 120 millas por hora.
El éxito que causó, dejo a la fábrica cerca del fracaso cuando Jaguar se dio cuenta de que no había manera de que pudiese cumplir con las más de trescientas unidades que pidieron como resultado de esta presentación. El vehículo, tiene carrocería de aluminio hecha a mano y sus refuerzos de madera.
